This book is about a boy losing his books. That sounds scary to me. I don’t want to lose my books because it would make me sad. The boy looks everywhere but doesn’t find it. He looks under his bed, he looks on his bookshelf, he looks in the fridge (that would have been a cold book), he looks in the cupboard and he looks in the oven (that would have been a burnt book).
I like that this book is about taking care of your stuff and not letting squirrels take it (OOPS SPOILER). In my case, it’s about a little brother and maybe about me not putting things back. I do need to do a better job of taking care of my stuff but it would be fun to share with squirrels.
This is just a fun book to read and I recommend first and second graders read it. Also, come back tomorrow to learn more about Debbie Ridpath Ohi. She will be our Meet the Author tomorrow.
