This is a triple bonus review. Not only am I reviewing two books but today is their book birthday! Did you know authors call the release date of their books “book birthdays”?

Here I am with the first book the day I got my copy. I read a lot that day. It was so good. I suggested these books when I was on KidsPlace Live last week.

The Super Happy Party Bears are bears that are super happy party bears. They put on their super happy party pants in the mornings. Unlike Grumpy Woods animals, who put on grumpy pants every day. I wonder if they put their grumpy pants on backwards if that makes them grumpier or happy?

The first book is Gnawing Around. It is about beavers moving into Grumpy Woods. They are not very nice even for Grumpy Woods. They are grumpy but even grumpier than everyone else. The beavers build a dam and it takes away most of the water in Grumpy River. Everyone else is really grumpier than usual.  One of the Party Bears jumps of the dam and well, I can’t tell you what happens. That would be a spoiler!  I think you should read this book.

The second book is called Knock Knock on Wood.  In this book, the Super Happy Party Bears meet Wallace Woodpecker, a noisy bird. The town’s critters are really annoyed. Did you know the town is annoyed by the Super Happy Party Bears all the time? The beavers even show in this story (I am not going to tell you how but it is funny).

Overall, the books are really funny. I can’t wait for the next books in the series.  I am really impressed about Marcie’s first books. She did a really, really good job!
