I received this book in exchange for a review. New authors are a personal favorite of mine. It is hard for me to say no to a new author.

This book is about a girl named Catalina and a king who wants to build a wall around his kingdom. He doesn’t like the people in the other kingdom. Catalina is very unhappy because her family lives on the other side of the wall. She won’t see them again.  The king wants to know what he should make his wall out of. Catalina gives him recommendations that are edible and fall apart in the rain. The king eventually eats the wall.

This is a story about trying to make sure you can see your family. It is about people making silly rules.

I recommend this book to people who try to make rules or have silly rules in their house.
