My parents got me a subscription to Owl Crate Jr. I get a box each month with a book and items that go along with the book. In May, the book was Thisby Thestoop and the Black Mountain. I was really excited to meet Zac Gorman at A2CAF! Come back tomorrow for his interview.
This book is about a girl named Thisby Thestoop and how she has to help princess Iphigenia get out of the dungeon after a part of the royal inspection of the dungeon goes horribly wrong.
I like this book because Thisby and Iphigenia become good friends and Thisby gets to visit the palace where Iphigenia lives. I like that they don’t describe the monsters or dungeon too much so you can imagine it yourself.
I recommend this book to kids who like to read adventure books. Also kids with very active imaginations.
